There are 2 types of golf shoes on the market. There are shoes that do not have any spikes, this type of shoe is also known as “soft spikes” and there are shoes with metal spikes. You will need to check with the course you are playing at as to what are their rules regarding shoes. Steel spikes have a tendency to rip up the greens. That is why many courses don’t allow them. You will want to make sure that your shoes fit well. You will be doing up to 4 miles of walking.
